The best grilled cheese in the country! This is the grilled cheese sandwich you've always dreamed about. It's a beloved American classic grilled with love that makes a crunchy yet soft buttery crust and melted cheesy perfection. It's the grilled cheese sandwich you always imagined and wanted as a kid but somehow could never find until now! And they've managed to duplicate this effect with their grilled peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Once you've had one you'll wonder why you ever ate and peanut butter and jelly sandwich cold. Surely it couldn't get any better than that, but it does. If you're the kind of person who is always slightly suspicious of whether chicken has been cooked long enough then you can relax. Brunch Box always has the best chicken tenders. Even the barbecue sauce is great. And last but not least among my favorites are the milk shakes. You're going to want a large and you're definitely not gonna want to share. Please don't ever close your doors Brunch Box! Portlanders need your consistently delicious food during these chaotic times. Thank you, Brunch Box!

Places like this are one of the reasons I traveled so much this summer. NJ and NY have dope stuff, don't get me wrong. But Portland had some dope weird stuff. The build your own option is amazing, but if you can't make up your mind, choose off the menu. Usually, when I visit a new city, I never go to the same place twice, but this could not be avoided....and I went twice. The location in the South West was way quieter than the one closer to all the downtown action. The SW location was also MASSIVE. I miss Portland :-(

This location is at Pioneer square. If you're taking a short break from the food carts, you'll want to stop in at Brunch Box for a (huge) bite of whatever you think will fill that burger-shaped hole in your life. Grab a menu or fill out the form (aka a job application for your jaws) and get ready for a serious workout (you know- the one you say you'll do to justify eating this). I was looking for brunch, so the Bacon Benny Bagel Burger fit the bill. The sandwich was as much of a mouthful as it's name and was difficult to eat without it getting messy. As I always say, the messier it is, the better it tastes - just make sure you have enough napkins especially if you're ordering to-go/takeout/takeaway.

This place is small and always packed to the gills. It is packed to the gills because it is good. There is no private parking so you must find street parking. I came here for brunch and got the lumberjack. French toast buns, eggs, ham, sausage, bacon, and blackberry jam. So delicious. I will be back and I will get a burger.

We tried Brunch Box for the first time when it was a food cart nearby. When we heard that they now have a restaurant location we jumped in the truck, in below freezing temps, headed downtown, and hiked a couple of blocks to have a burger. Super cute, small, location. Only 4 tables and a counter with a few stools. The staff was very friendly from the minute we stepped through the door. We ordered at the counter and chose one of the tables to sit at. Even with the freezing cold temps outside the tables were full so I imagine it's packed when it's nice weather. We ordered a Big Kahuna burger and a Youhascheeseburger burger. We also added an order of brewhouse fries. A burger, cooked perfectly, sandwiched between 2 grilled cheese sandwiches is the stuff that dreams are made of. The big kahuna was the perfect blend of sweet pineapple, crispy bacon, and another perfectly cooked burger. To top off this amazing dream of food, the brew house fries, topped with parmesan and garlic, and dipped in their spicy dipping sauce, was like getting a puppy on Christmas morning. If you're anywhere within 3000 miles of this place you need to go in and try a burger or 5. Don't forget the fires! We'll definitely be back to try more of the menu. Oh, and there's also a happy hour M-W and all day Thursday. Could this place possibly get any better?! Go now!

Crazy delicious!!!!! First time and won't be last! We don't live in the state but when we come back to visit I can tell you this will be a must each time. I did a build your own with grill cheese, sausage, lettuce, pickle, fried egg and ranch. Explosion of happiness in my mouth! The pickle mingled perfectly with the grill cheese, while the sausage and egg equally played a role. Perfect distribution of flavor in each bite. I can't wait to try more on the menu. Chocolate shake nice thick and of course chocolatey. My husband enjoyed his English muffin fried egg, cheese and sausage as well. Great place for a hangover meal or cheat meal. Well worth every calorie!

We came in for lunch on a Sunday and the place was very busy! There were only 5 tables available for dine in. We ordered and waited for a table. I got the breakfast sandwich called Lumberjack and the bf got the you can has cheeseburger. The lumberjack cost around $9 and the cheeseburger was around $9.50. The lumberjack sandwich had bacon, sausage, egg, cheese, and grilled onions. It was very good! But I did get sick of it after a couple bites. It tasted very much like a sausage egg muffin. But instead of muffin, they used texas toast. The you can has cheeseburger on the other hand was superb! I loved it! It was cheesy and warm. We opted out the tomatoes and lettuce so the sandwich was nice and hot. The buns were grilled cheese buns so it was very cheesy. I think they need more seating and the prices are a bit steep. Other than that, I loved it!

WOW! This restaurant really hit the spot for me and Freddy. I created my own sandwich and kept it breakfast oriented. I ordered a texas toast with spam, which apparently comes with bacon, and of course an over easy egg. They had put American cheese and grilled onions on it, and before I knew it, I felt like I had just made contact with heaven after that first bite. Freddy ordered the "Youcanhaz cheeseburger" which was basically a delicious burger topped with a grilled cheese sandwich. This is definitely the elevated version of Jack in the Box's Munchie meal which has something similar to this. Although both sandwiches were out of this world, I had to say my build your own sandwich was my favorite. I'm a sucker for spam, and this place delivered it! The people working at the restaurant were super nice, and helped give us tips on things to see in Portland for the day. They even gave us a little history on the start of their business! Pretty cool! This is definitely going to be a mandatory visit for me every time I come out to Portland now. Now, when is my next visit Portland? I hope soon.
